Let the Repurposing Begin!

Hellooooooooooooooooooo Blogosphere! Today marks the first day of the rest of my blog life. I've thought about it, had false starts, resisted it, and finally just decided to dive right in. Honestly, when people would ask me, "Do you have a blog?" I always wondered what on earth I would blog about. Just because I'm a writer by trade doesn't automatically mean that I have a topic I am so passionate about that I could write about it for days at a time. Or do I?

In fact, my blog friends, it turns out I do!

It took countless relatives, friends, and nosey neighbors seeing my home decor creations and all saying, "That was what?!" before I realized that I do have another passion outside of writing. I L.O.V.E. finding things, preferably inexpensive things, and transforming them into beautiful home decor statements, and I think it's about time I shared my creations with the world...well, at least the fraction of the world that might happen upon my blog. Anywho...Let the posts begin!

  3. The older I get, the more creative I become. Believe you me, it took a few years to get to where I am today. Your ottoman was a kick in the brain, "how can I transform that regular, everyday whatchamajiggit into my next home decor object of wonderfulness." I look forward to reviewing your other ideas!

  4. Carol, I guess that's another good thing about getting older! My grandmother lived to 105...if I'm lucky enough to live that long imagine what I'll be creating by then!
